First of all, all the indicator lights on the left hand side stayed on permanently even with the ignition turned off. This eventually led to the left hand side not working at all, when i now indicate left thereare no lights on the outside, and the Aug 19, 2014 · For a permanent fix it is going to cost you around £50.00 and about 30 mins of your time together with a crimping set and/or soldering iron. Crimping and electrical tape will do the same job mate tbh. I know this as I did this job on Friday on my GP. These are the parts you will need. If it's not one of the fuse box fuses, and it's the original factory head unit, there's a 10 Amp fuse in the back of the radio itself. You need an extraction tool to pull it out of the dash (or make one out of 4 bits of metal coathanger or similar). Oct 6, 2010 · Hi - my key fob has got wet and now the key works but the remote does not open/close the doors or the boot. The Punto is a 2006 Active. I visited the local Fiat dealer who told me it would cost a total of c.£200 to replace the key, buy the code and reprogram it. I think you will find you will need a new boot catch as the bright sparks at Fiat decided to put the sensor in the catch mechanism. Had exactly the same thing but managed to get it done under warranty as I had only just got the car. nOh and make sure your interior lights work after the work is done as they blew my Feb 22, 2015 · It's common for these types of displays to no longer display anything. My still screen on my stereo wouldn't work anymore. I've also noticed that on my Punto, when it's absolutely freezing outside, if I use blue and me, the displays is very laggy. It like fades the last word and then sort of "loads" the new one. Haha .
